Sunhee Joo: Piano

Pianist Sun Hee Joo has been an active performer in her native country of South Korea. Ms. Joo has garnered national prizes such as: Bronze Medal from the Nationwide Music Competition, Second Prize from the Yejin Music Competition and Third Prize from the Brahms Competition. Having graduated from Seoul National University where she studied with Aviram Reichert, she has moved to the States to further her studies at Manhattan School of Music, from which she has earned her Master of Music degree as a pupil of Phillp Kawin. Ms. Joo has participated in master classes with Edward Auer and Naum Grubert and attended various music festivals in France and Italy. Currently, Ms. Joo is a candidate for a Doctor of Music degree at Rutgers University as a pupil of Min Kwon and Vladimir Valjarevic.
